TIG Welder / Fabricator Job Summary: A fast-paced manufacturing company is seeking a TIG (GTAW)welder to join their team on1stshift. TIG Welder / Fabricator Requirements: TIG (GTAW) welding tube and plate with a variety of aluminum materials Read and interpret engineered drawings to fabricate products Measure and fabricate raw materials utilizing a variety of equipment (shear, press brake, drill press, hand drill, grinder, etc) Perform metal finishing using contour grinding techniques Generate and create written replenishment orders for raw and vendor sourced materials Schedule: 7am–3:30pm, Monday-Friday Pay: $20/hr+based on experience TIG Welder / Fabricator Qualifications: 3-5 years of TIG (GTAW)/Fabrication welding experience Previous experience utilizing fabrication equipment required (shear, press brake, drill press, etc) Must have own tools (welding hood, welpers, small grinder, hammer-chisel, fillet and V-WAC gauges) Must be competent and able to efficiently and precisely weld a variety of aluminum materials Must be able to read and interpret engineered drawings Must be able to duplicate template and sample materials Must have previous experience with contour grinding Basic mechanical skills required for safely and effectively testing certain components (pressure and leak test tanks) Ability to work independently Location: Kentwood, MI Position Type: Full-time, Evaluation Hire #J-18808-Ljbffr
