Salary: $150,000 - 210,000 per year Requirements:

• At least 8 years of network engineering experience.
• Experience with software-defined networking, cloud networking, AI-driven automation, and secure architectures such as Zero Trust.
• Demonstrated experience supporting government customers, agencies, or contracts in federal environments, including the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, federal civilian agencies, or military organizations. Experience on the same or a similar contract, with strong knowledge of the customer environment and operational requirements, is highly desirable.
• Security+ certification (DoD 8570 IAT Level II), Network+, CCNA, and CCNP certifications; CCIE must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Active TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship.
• Preferred: Experience with Type 1 encryption or COMSEC environments, classified enterprise networks, 24x7 mission-critical network operations, and enterprise network-monitoring tools.

• Provide Tier 3 network engineering support.
• Troubleshoot complex network, connectivity, encryption, and performance issues; conduct root-cause analysis and develop corrective actions.
• Design, configure, test, and implement network solutions.
• Support secure architecture and Zero Trust implementation, software-defined networking, and cloud networking technologies.
• Develop and deploy automation to improve network operations, including AI-driven network automation where applicable.
• Provide technical escalation support to operations teams.
• Develop configuration standards, technical procedures, and network documentation.
• Support lifecycle management and modernization of secure networking capabilities.
• Coordinate with government engineers, cybersecurity teams, and other technical personnel.

We are recruiting an INE Senior Network Engineer with hackajob for our Department of State COMSEC IT Services contract. This position supports secure COMSEC network environments and an upcoming government contract proposal; employment is contingent on contract award and government approval, and candidates may be asked to sign a Letter of Commitment. The role is based onsite in the DMV area, with a low-noise office environment, a Monday–Friday day shift, possible evening or weekend work to meet program needs, and less than 10% travel. The target salary range is $150,000–$210,000, subject to individual qualifications and contract and organizational factors.
